Amid Shifting Regulations, Widiatmika Elementary School Earns a Perfect Score for Its 2025/2026 Curriculum

JIMBARAN – The new academic year at Widiatmika Elementary School began with a notable achievement. The school’s Education Unit Curriculum Document (KSP) for the 2025/2026 academic year successfully passed the official verification process with a perfect score of 100 and the highest rating, Amat Baik (Excellent). The assessment was formally recorded in an official report signed by the elementary school supervisor of Badung Regency, I Wayan Sujana, S.Pd.SD, on 18 July 2025.

The verification process used an evaluation instrument consisting of six main chapters and 22 indicators. All components of the KSP document received maximum scores, including those related to instructional planning, school characteristics, and professional development and evaluation. Widiatmika Elementary School earned a full 100 out of 100 points.

This year’s curriculum development took place amidst ongoing changes in national education policy. Several new regulations, including Permendikdasmen Nos. 9 through 13 of 2024, were issued after the school year had already begun. Even so, Widiatmika managed to adapt quickly and precisely.

I Kayan Gung Aprilia, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Principal for Curriculum at Widiatmika Elementary School, explained that the school consistently monitored policy updates and adjusted its curriculum documents in accordance with the latest directives.

“As soon as a new guideline was issued by the regional office, we immediately reviewed the document and revised the necessary sections,” he said.

The curriculum verification process was conducted entirely online. The school submitted the document in digital format, which was then reviewed by the supervisor. After receiving feedback, the curriculum team made the required adjustments and submitted the updated version. This process was repeated several times until all six chapters were declared complete and in line with the standards.

According to Gung Aprilia, the document was not only prepared to comply with regulations, but also built upon a reflection of the previous year’s implementation. The evaluation served as a basis for strengthening the learning direction and designing more contextual teaching programs.

“We took a close look at what had gone well and what still needed improvement. That evaluation became the foundation for this year’s strategy,” he added.

In the official document, the supervisor stated that the KSP of Widiatmika Elementary School had met the required standards. The written statement in the verification form reads:

"After receiving input from the school committee and being validated by the supervisor using the KSP verification instrument with a score of 100, we request the Regional Coordinator (Korwil) to recommend it to the Head of the Education Office. Subsequently, the KSP shall be approved by the Head of the Office so that it can be implemented at Widiatmika Elementary School in the 2025/2026 academic year."

With this result, Widiatmika Elementary School enters the new school year with a strong, well-documented, and fully verified curriculum. More than just meeting administrative requirements, the document reflects the school’s commitment to delivering education that is adaptive, structured, and meaningful for every student.
