JIMBARAN – Renowned news platforms, detik.com and kumparan.com, have ranked Widiatmika Elementary School among the most high-quality private schools in Bali. Both sites recommend Widiatmika as an ideal choice for parents seeking a top-notch education for their children. Since its establishment, Widiatmika Elementary School has built a strong reputation, with full enrollment each year,” said the Principal of Widiatmika Elementary School, I Putu Edi Purwanta, on Wednesday, January 22, 2024.
In 2024, detik.com included Widiatmika in its list of the 10 best private elementary schools in Bali. Meanwhile, kumparan.com, through user-generated content by “Seputar Bali,” also recommended Widiatmika as one of the top four private elementary schools in Bali.
Edi stated that this acknowledgment from the two news platforms further solidifies Widiatmika’s reputation as an outstanding educational institution. With this achievement, Widiatmika hopes to contribute even more to the advancement of education in Bali and Indonesia. He emphasized that the school will continue to uphold its excellent reputation to increase public trust.
Previously, Widiatmika Elementary School achieved numerous accolades, such as being trusted as a Piloting School for the 2013 Curriculum, recognized as a National-Level Quality Culture School for three consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018), and selected as a Piloting School for Character Education (PPK) in 2016. Furthermore, in 2019, Widiatmika Elementary School was featured in the Ministry of Education and Culture’s “Best Practice” publication.
Widiatmika’s main strength, Edi continued, lies in its high accreditation score. Widiatmika is the highest-accredited private elementary school in Bali, scoring 98 points, earning the "A Gemuk" (Outstanding) designation. This signifies that Widiatmika’s programs fully comply with the requirements set by the National Accreditation Board (BAN). He also highlighted the importance of school accreditation in determining educational quality.
“Many private schools are still unaccredited or even lack operational permits. That’s why parents need to consider the school’s track record and accreditation status when choosing an educational institution for their children,” Edi explained.
Additionally, Widiatmika Elementary School offers various advantages, such as highly qualified teaching staff with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, comfortable classrooms, an ideal student-teacher ratio (maximum 28 students per class), and supporting facilities like computer labs, science labs, and libraries.
