Badung - As many as twenty-five students of Widiatmika Vocational School took the Field Work Practice (FWP) exam after carrying it out the FWP for six months. This FWP exam was held at the school for two days, Thursday - Friday, 21 - 22 July 2022.
The head of the Widiatmika Vocational School, I Gede Inten, said that before the exam, students had participated in several businesses and industrial companies spread across Denpasar and Badung.
"This fieldwork practice is a routine program of the Widiatmika Vocational High School. This program is a tangible form of training for students in the industrial world based on their competencies," said Inten.
Inten added that nine places of business and industry where these students underwent street vendors had previously collaborated with Widiatmika Vocational School.
These nine business and industrial places include Fox Jimbaran Beach with eight students from the hospitality and culinary department, Le Meridien Hotel with seven students from the hospitality and culinary department, and Six Sense Uluwatu for one student majoring in hospitality.
Meanwhile, for the multimedia department, there are three students in Dipograph Jimbaran, two in Dipograph Nusadua, and one at Igo Photoworks, UD. Swapri, Dinarastika Film, and Bali Best Buy.
After participating in this FWP, all students then make a report for two weeks. Then proceed with the FWP report test.
"This exam is conducted to measure the level of achievement while carrying out street vendors in the form of a report exam. Two teachers test one student," he said.
Inten also hopes that after the FWP series, students can apply the experiences they have gained at school and in the community.
"This is also an additional provision of knowledge from the industrial world so that they are ready to work after graduation in the future," he said.
