JIMBARAN - The Head of the Culinary Arts Program at the Widiatmika Vocational School, Kadek Dwiatmika Benny Suputra, has become the official assessor after a series of training sessions at the Professional Certification Institute (LSP). Benny completed the LSP P3 level training in approximately one month. He is now officially an assessor in the field of culinary and entrepreneurship.
"The P3 level is about assessing industry and institution. I can conduct assessments at schools, universities, or industries, conduct certification tests or portfolios," said Benny, Wednesday (12/22/2021).
"I can also assess practitioners, college students who have just graduated, or soon to graduate, they who want to be 'declared' competent in their fields," he continued.
This training is entirely under the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). A privilege for me who is involved in the vocational world, including those involved in vocational high school.
Not just anyone could take part in this assessor training program. They must be at least a D3 graduate and have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in their field. In addition, the number of prospective assessors is very limited in each batch. This achievement is inseparable from the full support of the Widiatmika Foundation for the professional development of its human resources.
"The support from the foundation was extraordinary, although there were obstacles such as we had to hurry because of the limited quota (of trainees)," said Benny.
"This was also the first time that the Widiatmika Foundation has introduced assessor training. Such extraordinary support was like when it is submitted directly, then we were going to be fully funded by the foundation," he added.
