JIMBARAN – Widiatmika Vocational School has achieved an Outstanding rating with a final score of 90.59 in the 2024 Principal Performance Evaluation (PKKS). This accomplishment highlights that Widiatmika Vocational School has surpassed the established standards in nearly all assessed aspects.
The Principal of Widiatmika Vocational School, Ni Luh Putu Emayanti, expressed that this achievement is tangible proof of the school’s well-structured educational system. The system is implemented through a curriculum that fosters character development and student competence, supported by adequate facilities to ensure effective learning processes.
“This accomplishment is the result of the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the entire academic community at Widiatmika Vocational School. However, this is not the end of our journey. It should serve as motivation for us to keep improving so that Widiatmika Vocational School can become a high-quality vocational education institution, producing excellent, competitive graduates who contribute positively to society and industry,” said Emayanti.
The PKKS is an annual activity aimed at evaluating the performance of school principals. Its main objective is to ensure that schools are making efforts to deliver quality education. The results of the PKKS are utilized as a reflection tool and a means for continuous strengthening and improvement to truly achieve excellence.
The 2024 PKKS evaluation for Widiatmika Vocational School was conducted on December 3, 2024, with the final results announced on December 31, 2024. The evaluation for vocational schools assesses four main components: teacher performance in managing student-centered learning processes, the principal’s leadership in school management, the learning environment climate, and student learning outcomes. Widiatmika Vocational School scored 89.03 for teacher performance, 84.22 for leadership, 97.22 for the learning environment climate, and 88.89 for student learning outcomes.
Emayanti highlighted four key factors that contributed to this success. First, the quality of the learning process, encompassing excellent teaching, effective methods, and a curriculum aligned with industry needs; second, professional and competent teaching staff; third, adequate infrastructure and facilities, such as well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and practical tools; and fourth, effective management and leadership, which continuously enhance the quality of education at Widiatmika Vocational School.
“Additionally, during the evaluation period, we implemented two flagship programs: the Industrial Class, which integrates school and industry-based learning, and the creation of an inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all students,” Emayanti added.
To maintain its Outstanding rating, Widiatmika Vocational School plans to develop the 2025 Annual Work Plan (RKT) based on the 2024 PKKS evaluation. This step reaffirms Widiatmika Vocational School’s commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of its education services and achieving excellence as a school.
