JIMBARAN - Widiatmika Vocational School was visited by the comparative study group of Kartika V-1 Vocational School from Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Friday (3/12/2021). The principal of Kartika Vocational School, Ardian Aris Susanto, said that Widiatmika Vocational School is engaging despite its young age.
"We go everywhere every year: Manado, Yogyakarta, Makassar. Although the Widiatmika Vocational School is still relatively young, we see it as an extraordinary vocational school. Look at their facilities, infrastructure, and so on. There are many things that we should emulate," explained Ardian, Tuesday (7/12/2021).
Ardian sees the facilities for Widiatmika Vocational School students are complete, for example, in the Hospitality and Culinary expertise program. He also appreciated the TEFA (teaching factory) of Widiatmika Vocational School, a learning model with a concept resembling the industrial world.
"The Widiatmika TEFA Vocational School is already running. It's fantastic. We don't have it runs until now, even though we have more students," said Ardian.
"These students would have gotten a lot of work from the industry. Through TEFA, they get access to learn and make profit from there," he added.
Ardian understood that Widiatmika Vocational School works well in maintaining the ratio of the number of facilities available to human resources. This gives Widiatmika Vocational School students an excellent opportunity to access practical learning facilities.
"I was surprised, and I was even more surprised that Widiatmika Vocational School, which is not even three years old, has been already extraordinary," said Ardian.
"We see and believe it won't take long for this vocational school to get bigger," he concluded.
