Widiatmika Middle School Celebrates Teachers' Day 2024 with Appreciation and Inspiration

JIMBARAN – Widiatmika Middle School commemorated Teachers' Day 2024 on Monday, November 25, with heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated teachers who have worked tirelessly to advance the school. The event also served as a platform to boost teachers' motivation in teaching and to encourage students to excel further.

The principal of Widiatmika Middle School, I Wayan Gus Arnawa, explained that students were given the opportunity to express their gratitude to their teachers through various creative means, such as greeting cards, flowers, chocolates, and letters.

“This Teachers' Day celebration at Widiatmika Middle School aims to reinforce educational and character values. By providing students with a platform to show appreciation and respect to their teachers, we hope this celebration fosters noble values like respect and gratitude while emphasizing the importance of education for students' future well-being,” Arnawa stated.

Arnawa added that these noble values are expected to strengthen the emotional bond between teachers and students. Such positive relationships are believed to enhance the school’s culture and improve the effectiveness of the learning process.

The theme of this year’s celebration at Widiatmika Middle School was “Great Teachers, Stronger Indonesia.” Aligned with the National Teachers' Day 2024 theme, this theme aims to inspire teachers to continue improving their quality and giving their best to students for the advancement of the nation.

The celebration took place at Kanthi Widya Hall, starting with a flag-raising ceremony where all roles were carried out by teachers. Following the ceremony, the principal delivered a speech, which was followed by a symbolic cake-cutting to mark the occasion. Students also took this moment to personally convey their Teachers' Day greetings to their teachers.

In addition to appreciating teachers, Widiatmika Middle School used this opportunity to inspire students to keep striving for achievements. In his speech, Arnawa announced the results of various competitions that students had participated in during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
