Widiatmika Middle School also refers to a constructivist approach with various learning models such as Scientific, Inquiry, Problem Based Learning, Project Based Learning, and Cooperative Learning which are integrated by utilizing technology in the learning process, 21st-century skills, school literacy movements, and strengthening character education based on the nation's culture.
With the Project Based School program, this school supports the Merdeka Learning program by the Ministry of Education and Culture. That way, SMP Widiatmika can create a faithful, devoted, noble, creative, cooperative, global diversity, independent, and critical reasoning generation.
Widiatmika Middle School also became the second-generation driving school in Badung Regency in 2022. Widiatmika Junior High School was selected to be one of four Driving Schools in Badung Regency, Bali, based on a decision from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. One of the implementations is the digitalization program in schools.
Widiatmika Middle School also launched two platforms to implement the Driving School program. The online Counseling Guidance Room (Rubikon) platform and Anti-Bullying Online.
In addition, there is also the Podium Widiatmika Merdeka Talk (PWMB) program which has been carried out since the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year. This program is carried out to form students to think critically.
The students are also rich in achievements. Recently, a student named Ni Putu Galuh Sekar Ayu became one of the representatives from Bali who will compete in the National Science Olympiad (OSN) at the Middle School level in the field of Natural Sciences.
