JIMBARAN – Widiatmika Middle School has once again demonstrated its commitment to nurturing a generation of students with excellent character through the Entrepreneurship-themed Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) Exhibition.
Held on Friday, November 22, 2024, this event showcased the school’s dedication to implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka while instilling Pancasila values among its students.
Siska Rahmadhani, a Social Studies teacher at Widiatmika Middle School, shared that the exhibition involved all students from grades VII to IX.
“The primary goal of the entrepreneurship-themed P5 is to train students in entrepreneurial skills while fostering values such as teamwork, critical thinking, independence, diversity, creativity, and faith,” Siska explained.
P5 is an interdisciplinary learning program aimed at developing creative solutions to local challenges. Through the theme of entrepreneurship, students were encouraged to explore local economic potential while understanding the difficulties that come with it.
The exhibition was divided by grade levels. Grade VII students showcased culinary creations in the schoolyard, while grades VIII and IX focused on service-based and trading businesses within their classrooms. Each class was split into five groups, each competing to present their best products and services.
The event featured a variety of unique creations, including Buttered Wibu Chicken, Chili Oil Noodles, Brulle Bombs, Mini Churros, Spicy Carbonara Samyang, Chicken Seaweed Rolls, Garlic Bread, and innovative beverages like Milo Dinosaur, Smiling Tea, and Squash. For service and trade businesses, students offered services such as cleaning, photography, videography, make-up artistry, hairdressing, translation, and daycare.
“This event provided a platform for students to collaborate, innovate, and learn directly through hands-on experience. Parents also actively participated, showing great appreciation for the students’ work,” Siska concluded.
